This exclusive, full-featured security and alarm system is specifically designed to protect convertibles and other soft-top vehicles. This system not only prevents vehicle theft, but also provides an invisible layer of protection to the inside of your vehicle, even when your soft top is folded down! It’s also a GREAT addition to vehicles with windows rolled down and open sunroofs. What makes this system ideally suited to the convertible and other soft-top vehicles is the plug-in radar sensor which detects any object (such as an arm or hand) reaching into the vehicle. Sensitivity and area of coverage are easily adjusted to prevent false alarms. Sensor is small enough (1-3/8” x 1-3/4”) to be inconspicuously mounted on console, tailgate or fold-down windshield visor. Includes all the features of a “traditional” security and alarm system. Switch sensor senses voltage drop when doors are opened or interior lights go on. Dual-stage shock sensor detects the slightest impact to your vehicles body and attempts at entry. Includes two 5-button transmitters to arm and disarm the system. Programmable to allow manual arming with the transmitter or automatic arming. Can be programmed to automatically lock or unlock the doors when ignition is turned on or off. Six on-board relays for parking lights, starter disable etc. for easier and faster installation.
When triggered, the 6-tone siren sounds at an ear-piercing 125db and parking lights flash for approximately one minute. Alarm functions and settings are confirmed by LED, siren chirp or flashing parking lights. RF safety lockout prevents false alarms. There is also a valet control switch for valet mode or programming various alarm features.
